Maria asks…

Do carbohydrate addicts crave bread, cereal, and pasta all the time?

Because that’s what I seem to crave all the time!

admin answers:

That’s like asking;  am I a nicotine addict?  I crave cigarettes all the time.  All addictions are the same in the sense that they display they same symptoms.  Cravings, urges, binges and dependence.  It applies to all drugs, tobacco alcohol and carbohydrate addicts.   An addict is advised and expected to follow a cure.  A carbohydrate addict, is usually advised to go on a low carb diet.  That’s like telling a drug addict to cut down and an alcoholic to drink less.

That kind of advice is considered ludicrous and should be.  Yet nobody protest’s when it is given to a carbohydrate addict.  It is unacceptable and self serving, because the people who promote that advice also stand to profit from it.

The fact is, unless and until you cure your carbohydrate addiction, you cannot expect to lose weight and to have a healthy body.  You’ll find many articles, including Q’s&A’s on this blog.  But if you are really serious about curing your carbohydrate addiction, returning to a normal weight and never having to worry about your weight again.  Then there is only one sure solution.  Follow the Carbohydrate Addicts Manual.  It will teach you how to cure your addiction and get the quickest, best weight loss in the shortest possible time.  But best of all – your body will help you keep the weight off for good!

The quickest way to stop craving carbs food completely, is the same way you stop craving cigarettes and alcohol.  You stop using.  It takes a few days, but it works.  It means no sugar, flour, rice, potatoes, corn. Stick with meat, cheese, green veggies like lettuce, spinach, green beans, zuccini, no peas. And stick to it!!

Also, get acidopholis (i know i butchered the spelling!!) pills… They will kill any yeast infection you have in your intestines. If you have one of those, it creates stronger carbs food cravings, and in turn, the carbs food you eat will feed the yeast, making it worse!

If you want to do this the easy way you will need The Carbohydrate Addicts Manual.  It will help you through the rough spots and guarantee you get not just the fastest, best weight loss, but the skills to know how to keep the weight off for good.  Isn’t that the only kind of weight loss that should count?

Robert Your Questions About Carbohydrate Addicts

Robert asks…

Carbohydrate addicts- how can I stop being one of them?

Its gotten pretty bad…to the point where if I have some crackers, it can lead to a bad bad binge. On anything carb-like, especially sweets. I can’t get it all out of the house, because my mom won’t stop buying it- my family isn’t going to stop eating what they like just for me. But its like I can’t control these cravings…plus, I’m a runner, so I’m not sure I should completely STOP eating carbs.

Hey Robert, the truth is, no addict can stop just like that.  But when you listen to the right advice, you can make those carbs food cravings disappear in a few days. The trouble is, you are up against a mountain of misinformation.  To bypass that mountain, you need to take a leap of faith.  it may help you to be reminded that people didn’t always eat carbs food.  Until refrigeration, most Northern Europeans went through 6 months or more of every year with little or no carbs food at all.  Our traditional diet, which existed till forty years ago, was a high protein diet.  The only carbs food  in that diet were seasonal and natural.

There will be people who will try to tell you that carbs food is essential for energy.  That is a complete fabrication created by cereal manufacturers.  Your body runs equally well on a fat and protein diet.  In fact, facts suggest much better.  Your body is economical. It prefers to spend the carbs food as fuel, since that’s all it is good for.  That way it can save the proteins food for building and repairing your muscles and mending your skin and bones.

The real issue here is ‘what carbohydrates are we talking about?  Everything that grow on trees, bushes and on and in the ground are carbohydrates.  They are created by nature and have been a part of the human diet for centuries.  Our body has evolved to recognize and accept that type of carbs food.

The countless manufactured foods,  that come from a processing plant or an assembly line  are made from carbohydrates, but they are unnatural foods.  They are engineered by human beings and are not foods that our body has evolved to accept and process.  Evolution takes centuries, not a few decades.   Your body is forced to turn all carbs food into glucose.  Glucose is sugar and it is the fuel that provides us with energy.  The body is not designed to save it or store it.

As an analogy, let’s use a car as an example.  You put fuel in the tank, but unless you get behind the wheel and drive somewhere, the fuel is just going to sit there and get stale.  The same applies to your body.  It can only use the glucose you actually burn in energy.  Glucose cannot stagnate in your body waiting for you to use it.  What you don’t use is converted to fat cells and stored on your body.

In times past, the natural carbs food available was more than adequate for a people, who were forced to use a lot more energy than we do today.  The human body is not designed to store carbs food or glucose.  Stored fat cells are known as body fat.  Body fat has nothing to do with the fat you eat.  It is fat produced by your body from the carbs food/glucose, you have not spent on energy.  What does it mean? It means carbohydrates = fat.  The more carbs food you eat the fatter you get.  So don’t let anyone tell you that carbs food is essential to anyone  but a rabbit.

Ken Your Questions About Carbohydrate Addicts

Ken asks…

I love the taste of beer and the buzz, but no other alcohol?

I think, i’m just addicted to carbohydrates. Is there a pill for cure?

kirsten1 cropped Your Questions About Carbohydrate Addicts

admin answers:

When you drink liquor it releases something called dopamine into your brain that makes you fell light headed.  All liquors actually give you the same “buzz” some are just stronger tasting than others, or of a higher concentration.   Using moderation goes without saying.  But if you don’t have a weight problem, you are probably not a carbohydrate addict.
