<h1>I have a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em>food addiction</em></span>, can anyone suggest a plan for me?</h1>
<p>Any negative or cruel comments will be reported as abuse.  I weigh 322 pounds, and I am finally ready to do something about my <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight</strong></em></span>. I walk up the stairs, and it takes me about three minutes to gain my composure, cuz I am so out of breath. Please don&#8217;t tell me to quit eating. When you are <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addicted</strong></em></span> to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong><strong>food</strong></strong></em></span>, it is really really hard to quit. It is the same kind of <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> as gambling or drinking, except I NEED <strong><strong>food</strong></strong> to nourish my body. I feel backed into a corner, and I really need someone to help me.<br />
Thank You Kindly,</p>

<h3>kbp-admin answers:</h3>
<h2 class="dtm-content">You&#8217;re right, <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food addiction</strong></em></span> is as real as drug, alcohol and tobacco <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span></h2>
<p class="dtm-content"> I completely understand your feelings. But to cure your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> and <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lose weight</strong></em></span> for good,  doesn&#8217;t require you to stop eating.  It doesn&#8217;t even mean you have eat less.  You just have to learn the right<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> food</strong></em></span> to eat.  Once you do that you can eat as much as you like.  First you need to understand that <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food addiction</strong></em></span> is a term used to hide the name of the actual <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>.  We all have the choice of three different types of food: <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Protein</strong></em></span>, <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span> and <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>fat.</strong></em>   <em><strong>Carbohydrates</strong></em></span>, particularly processed <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span>, are highly<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> addictive</strong></em></span>.  There is in no evidence that it is even possible to become<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> addicted</strong></em></span> to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>protein</strong></em></span>.  Huge corporations have built countless products on processed<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> carbohydrates</strong></em></span>.  They back an army of self nominated <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span> experts who call themselves nutritionists.  it doesn&#8217;t take Einstein to figure out why it is so difficult get genuine information.  There are just too many corporations and people making money on<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span>.  Even governments won&#8217;t stop it.  Too much rides on the economy.</p>
<p class="dtm-content">I&#8217;m one of the few people who can, and is prepared to show you a way out.  You see your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong> food addiction</strong></span>, as you call it is not about the right <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span>, or overcompensating for some emotional problem.  As you seem to have already realized, <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate </strong></em></span><span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline"><em>a</em></span>ddiction</strong></em></span> is an <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> as genuine as any other <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> you care to name.  That includes drugs, alcohol and tobacco <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addictions</strong></em></span>.  The symptoms are almost the same:  Cravings, binges, gnawing hunger pains, withdrawals, fatigue, depression, headaches and other pains.</p>
<p class="dtm-content"><span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> is as dangerous as any of the other <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addictions</strong></em></span>.  It causes<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> morbid obesity</strong></em></span>, <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>type2 diabetes</strong></em></span>, heart disease, and several cancers.  In other words: <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> can be fatal.</p>
<p class="dtm-content">My advice will go against the prevailing opinions of nutritionists and other self pro-claimed <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span> experts.   But those opinions are not founded on any science or medical research.  More to the point, none of those people are properly qualified to tell you what to eat.  You&#8217;ll find many doctors today who agree with me.  More and more every day.  You need to cure your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction.</strong></em></span> That must come first.  In the process you&#8217;ll lose the <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight.</strong></em></span>  After that, you&#8217;ll never have to diet again.  Your own body will help you stay <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>slim</strong></em></span> and <em><strong>healthy</strong></em>.  Why? It doesn&#8217;t want the <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight</strong></em></span> any more than you do.</p>
<p class="dtm-content">The<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> human body</strong></em></span> doesn&#8217;t adapt &#8211; it evolves.  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Evolution</strong></span> takes a lot longer than a few decades.  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Your body</strong></em></span> doesn&#8217;t understand the <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span> you eat.  it also doesn&#8217;t understand <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diets</strong></em></span>.  It can&#8217;t tell the difference between a <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline"><em>diet</em></span></strong> and a famine.  Your body always recovers all lost<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> weight</strong></em></span> achieved through a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span>.  Each time it will add a little extra <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight</strong></em></span>.  It&#8217;s programmed by nature to do that.  To change this,  you first need to make friends with <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>your body</strong></em></span>.  You need to eat the<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> food</strong></em></span>  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>your body</strong></em></span> understands.  This will do more than help you<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> lose weight.</strong></em></span>  With the right<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> food</strong></em></span>, <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>your body</strong></em></span> will begin to do the work nature designed it to do &#8211; control and balance your<span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong> weight</strong></span>.</p>
<p class="dtm-content">You can lose all your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight</strong></em></span> without a <strong><em><span style="text-decoration: underline">diet</span></em></strong> as long as you stick to very specific <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>foods.</strong></em></span>  With the right <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span> you can eat as much as you like.  You&#8217;ll never again have to feel hungry.  Human beings are not designed to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span>.  Our<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> metabolism</strong></em></span> and <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>digestive systems</strong></em></span> do not understand <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diets</strong></em></span>.  If we want a slim<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> healthy</strong></em> <strong>body</strong></span> we must eat the <em><strong>food</strong> <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>our body</strong></span></em> DOES understand.  Surely not too much to ask?  It&#8217;s the kind of<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> food</strong></em></span> that evolved with us for centuries.  It made the <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>traditional diet</strong></em></span> that m0st people still followed till around forty years ago &#8211; It was a high <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>protein diet</strong></em></span>.</p>
<p class="dtm-content">You may think; OK I&#8217;ll just eat <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>protein</strong></em></span>.  But what is<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> protein</strong></em></span>?  This is probably the  most blurred and confusing question you can ask because every answer will be different. None of them are likely to be true.  When it comes to<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> protein</strong></em></span>, vested interests will fudge the truth.  They have to, if they want to protect their territory.  It is virtually impossible not to be confused about <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>protein</strong></em></span>.  Cereal and snack food manufacturers, will tell you their products contain protein.  That&#8217;s impossible if it is <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>protein</strong></em></span> that has any meaning to your body.   They will say too much <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>protein</strong></em></span> is dangerous.  That is ridicules.</p>
<p class="dtm-content">Throughout history,<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> human beings</strong></em></span> have survived and thrived, for long periods, without <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span>.  They will tell you<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> carbohydrate</strong></em></span> is essential to a healthy life.  Again ridicules.  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> Carbohydrates</strong></em></span> have only one purpose and that&#8217;s to supply the fuel we need when we want to spend some energy.  The body converts all <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span> to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>glucose</strong></em></span>.  That&#8217;s liquid sugar.  It&#8217;s what <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>the body</strong></em></span> uses for fuel. If we don&#8217;t spend any energy, we wont burn any fuel.    Sine <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>the body</strong></em></span> is not designed to store <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>glucose</strong></em></span>. It has no option but to turn it into <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body fat.</strong></em></span></p>
<p class="dtm-content">To successfully <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lose weight</strong></em></span> for good, it&#8217;s not enough to switch you<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> diet</strong></em></span> to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>protein</strong></em></span>.   You will need to learn exactly what<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> protein</strong></em></span> is and how you will recognize it.  But most important of all: Before you can get any kind of permanent <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight loss</strong></em></span> you must first cure your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>.  That&#8217;s why I wrote<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong><a rel="nofollow" href="http://thecarbohydrateaddictsmanual.com/special/"> The Carbohydrate Addicts Manual</a></strong></em></span>.  It will show you how I cured my own <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> for good and ecxactly what <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>protein foods</strong></em></span> I used and still eat to this day.</p>
<p class="dtm-content">The best advice I can give you is:  Don&#8217;t listen to cereal, <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span>, or snack food manufacturers.  And don&#8217;t listen to self nominated <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span> expert.    Instead learn how to pay attention to your own<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> body</strong></em></span>.  Your body will help you <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lose weight</strong></em></span> when you help your body with the right <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span>.  Once your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body</strong></em></span> is healthy again, your metabolism can get back to work to do the job it was designed to do.  To control and balance your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>weight</strong></span>.  You&#8217;ll soon learn the type of <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em>food</em></span> your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body</strong></em></span> wants.  Manufacturers of <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate</strong></em></span> products, and the <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>diet experts</strong></span> who promote these products, do not want you to understand what<em><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong> protein</strong></span></em> is. They fear the truth. If everybody change from <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate</strong></em></span><em><strong>  </strong><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>foods</strong></span></em> to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>protein</strong></em> <em>foods</em></span>, they&#8217;ll be out of business.  They&#8217;ll tell you<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> carbohydrates</strong></em></span> are essential to the <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body</strong></em></span>.  That&#8217;s a lie.  In the past,  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Human beings</strong></em></span> spent long periods, during harsh winters, without <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span> .   <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Our body</strong></em></span> was designed for<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> protein</strong></em></span> &#8211; not <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span>.</p>
<p class="dtm-content">William there are so many things I would love to tell but it takes a book to explain it all.   More than seven years ago, I cured my own <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>, I eliminated all my<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> type2 diabetes</strong></em></span> symptoms and I lost all the<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> weight</strong></em></span>.  The<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> weight</strong></em></span> will never come back as long as I eat what my<span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong> body</strong></span> understands and  I follow the right <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>foods</strong></em></span>.  I wrote two books about this because I felt it was so important to share what I&#8217;d learned.  I would love the opportunity to teach you how to lose your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight</strong></em></span> for good and never have a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problem</strong></em></span> again.  If you follow the link below you can learn exactly what I learned and what I did to cure my<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> and to<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> lose weight</strong></em></span> for good.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">I can most certainly help you to help yourself.  I would like you to read the previous answer above.   It it for a question almost identical to yours.   First of all you have a very misguided idea about the right<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> food</strong></em></span> to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lose weight</strong></em></span>.  Your are clearly a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addict</strong></em></span>.   As long as you are <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addicted</strong></em></span> you will never <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lose weight</strong></em></span> for long.  With each <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span> you will eventually get<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> fatter</strong></em></span> than before.  You can <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>lose weight</strong></span> permanently, only when you cure your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction.</strong></em></span>   Only then will your cravings, withdrawals, binges fatigue and depression be gone.  So read the above post.  There is a solution and it&#8217;s a lot easier than you think.</p>

<p>3. Some cooked vegetables (potato, onion, frozen vegetables, bell pepper) and some tofu with a little bit of seasoning and maybe fruit with it</p>

I also drink 3 liters of water daily and some green tea</p>

<p class="dtm-content">You<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> diet</strong></em></span> leaves me speechless.  You will not lose<span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong> body fat</strong></span> on the<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> diet</strong></em></span>, all you&#8217;ll lose is condition and fluid.   You need a serious reality check about about your own <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body</strong></em></span> and the <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span> it is designed to process.  I don&#8217;t see a single<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> protein</strong></em></span> in your proposed <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span>.  Do you realize that <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>proteins</strong></span> are the building blogs of life?  They grow and mend our bones, skin, muscles, tissue and organs.  Without <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>protein</strong></em></span> there is no chance of a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>healthy life</strong></em></span>.   What do all those <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span> you eat do?  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Your body</strong></em></span> converts them to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>glucose</strong></em></span>.  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Glucose</strong></em></span> is liquid sugar.  That means it&#8217;s of no value to your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>health</strong></em></span>.  What <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>glucose</strong></em></span> does do,  is drive your energy.  If you don&#8217;t have much energy you won&#8217;t use much <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>glucose</strong></em></span>.  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Your body</strong></em></span> can&#8217;t store <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>glucose.</strong></em></span> What&#8217;s left behind each day, is stored as <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body fat</strong></em></span>.  What does that mean?  It means the more excess <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span> you eat the fatter you get.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">Actually, yes. You talk like an <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addict</strong></em></span>, you eat like an<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> addic</strong></em></span>t and your understanding of <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span> proves you are an <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addict</strong></em></span>.   The first think you need to do is cure your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction.</strong></em></span>  Only then can you expect to<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> lose weight</strong></em></span> for good.  To do that will require some knowledge about <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span>, that you clearly don&#8217;t possess.  I urge you to read my reply to the earlier question on this page.  I think that&#8217;ll give you the information you are looking for.</p>

<div class="dtm-content">
<h2>My partner has a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Food Addiction</strong></em></span>. It&#8217;s getting tough. Do I have the right to leave her?</h2>
<p>A little background. Sorry for the length, I want to ensure I get the whole picture across.  When I met my partner, she was 200 lbs. For her height and age, she should be 160 tops. Normally I would not have dated someone who was at least 40 lbs <em><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>overweight,</strong></span></em> but she&#8217;s a beautiful woman and has a phenomenal personality. Also, she had been working very hard to<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> lose weight</strong></em></span> (over 80 lbs lost at the time we met) and she HAD a unique passion to lose the rest. I found this passion amazing and it was one of the reasons I fell in love with her.</p>
<p>Over the past 4 years, I have watched her go from one <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight loss</strong></em></span> <strong>plan</strong> to another. We&#8217;ve spent THOUSANDS of dollars (and considered surgical options). Today, she is about 210 lbs. She has fluctuated between 180 and 255 over the time we have been together.</p>
<p>As an example of what I go through, last night we were visiting family. Her cousin took out a bag of Doritos and passed them around. Normally, I would not eat this stuff, but since I had been good most of the week and they were my favorite Doritos flavor, I figured I would have a bit. I went over and asked for some (my partner had them at this point) &amp; she motioned the bag towards me. I was chatting with someone at this point and only half paying attention. I tried to grab the bag, figured I could walk away with it as she had been eating them for a few minutes. She held the bag tight. When I looked over at her, she was glaring at me like I had done something horrible. I grabbed a few out of the bag instead and walked away. When I looked back a couple minutes later, she still had the bag. I whispered so nobody would hear, &#8220;Pass the bag&#8221;. She just glared at me some more.</p>
<p>This sort of thing happens VERY often. She asks me for my support, she asks me to tell her when she is doing something bad or going too far. But when I do, it is met with cold stares, arguments and a bad attitude. She talks about getting help all the time and how hard it is.Yet, in the end, she sabotages herself and/or quits and says it&#8217;s too hard.</p>
<p>My partner, overall, is very<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> healthy</strong></em></span>. She&#8217;s much more fit than I am. Kick-boxing twice a week, gym &amp; running in the summer. Yet, she has not<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> lost weight.</strong></em></span> She eats more than I do, probably about %50 more calories every day, and uses the excuse that its because she works out more than I do. Even when she stops working out for a couple weeks, she still eats a lot.</p>
<p>She also makes bad choices. This week, she ate an entire box of kraft dinner, half a medium pizza, a bunch of christmas sweets, Chinese <strong><strong>food</strong></strong>, half a bag of Doritos and who knows what else. I was at a company function with deep fried everything and a veggie platter. I ate 1 wing, a couple small spring rolls, a couple grilled chicken skewers and filled up on veggies. I know it&#8217;s all about the choices we make, she tends to make the wrong choices most of the time. I&#8217;ve been working very hard to keep my weight down, she likes it when I am in the 190s. She cannot seem to do the same for me.</p>
<p>This is not the only area in which she shows no concern for my feelings. At times, I feel that she simply does not respect any of my needs. These other things are minor in the grand scheme of things, they just compound this one major problem.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s getting hard to be supportive, I am fed up. She&#8217;s impossible to deal with at times. As sweet and wonderful as she is most of the time (seriously, she&#8217;s amazing, everyone loves her to death), she can get vicious in an argument (most people have no idea). She tends to attack &amp; she knows it, but it has not gotten any better. Over 4 years of this, coming close to 5 years. I&#8217;m not sure I can handle it any more.</p>
<p>What would you do?<br />
Sorry, one more VERY important thing. I love this woman more than I&#8217;ve ever loved anyone else. Relationships, commitment &amp; love are some of the hardest things for me to deal with, I&#8217;ve never been very good at any of them (childhood thing). I am and have always been utterly &amp; deeply faithful to her in any way I can be. As I said, overall, she&#8217;s uniquely wonderful and she makes me want to be a better person. It&#8217;s amazing she has this dark side very few understand, see or know about. She says her childhood was a happy one &amp; she has amazingly loving parents. Mine was a bit of the opposite.<br />
She&#8217;s tried a lot of pills. Acai is one of them.<br />
I&#8217;ve recommended counseling. Once, she even admitted she might need it. She just gets upset if I bring it up so nothing has happened in that area.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">Your partner is right; it is too hard.  That&#8217;s because she is a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addict</strong></em></span>.   Think about.  How do you try to help a smoker, an alcoholic or a drug <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addict</strong></em></span>?   I imagine you would help them come to terms with their <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>addiction</strong></span> and then find a way to cure it.   <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> is as difficult to live with as any other <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>.  But at the same time, it is probably the easiest <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> to cure.  When the <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> is gone, so are all the nasty symptoms.</p>
<p class="dtm-content">It becomes easy then, to eat with your head instead of a compulsion.  So, believe it or not, your partner doesn&#8217;t need advice, or reminding that her behavour is bad or that she needs a professional helps.  What she really needs is for you to help her understand her <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction.</strong></em></span> You should then join her in adapting a new way to eat that will benefit both of you.  learn how easy it is to cure the<span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong> addiction</strong></span>.  You may well both be  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food addiction.</strong></em></span>  Here is a chance to share and help each other cure your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food addiction</strong></em></span> for good.  You&#8217;ll never have to<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> diet</strong></em></span> again.</p>

<h1>Are drug, coffee, tobacco, sex, and <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>food addicts</strong></em></span>, all the same?</h1>
<p>Perhaps these people are <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>addicted</em></span></strong> to feeling a rush. All of these activities stimulate the brain and give it a high. Some highs are better than others, but in the end it seems that most people do these activities to get the feeling it provides. In fact all human behavior is performed to receive pleasure or relief.</p>
<p>How do certain feelings relate to the stress response system and early childhood abuse? Can this lead to the constant life long need to bring order to the stress response system if it never formed properly during childhood?</p>

<h3>kbp-admin answers:</h3>
<p class="dtm-content">I agree there is little, if anything, that separates the symptoms associated with  <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>.  I&#8217;m not sure the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> is naturally motivated by a need for &#8216;the rush&#8217;.  I see it more as an overwhelming need for the<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> addict</strong></em></span> to fill a hollow space deep inside.</p>
<p>People who begin to smoke, drink, or overeat, rarely expect to become <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addicted</strong></em></span>.  It is not likely to be their motivation.  They often deny their <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> and genuinely believe they are in control.  The one thing all <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addictions</strong></em></span> have in common is that they do not disappear until<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> the body</strong></em></span> is purged of all connection with the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addictive</strong></em></span> substance.  As to stress responses from child hood.  Since most<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> food </strong></em><em><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>a</em></span>ddicts</strong></em></span> don&#8217;t expect to become <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addicted</strong></em></span> I don&#8217;t see a connection.  Not every bad thing in life is associated with our childhood.</p>

<h3>kbp-admin answers:</h3>
<p class="dtm-content">I think that&#8217;s very stereotypical and not necessarily accurate. However, there are people who seek alternative <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>lifestyles</strong></em></span> and may also be <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addicted</strong></em></span> to substance abuse.  The hippie subculture in the 1960s and 70s saw the rejection of science and the &#8220;establishment&#8221;. That era also brought about a lot of nonconformism and saw the establishment of health<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> food</strong></em></span> stores throughout the country.</p>
<p>It is also normal for reformed<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> addicts</strong></em></span> to strive to live healthier lives.  There is a certain logic in the fallacy that any &#8216;natural&#8217; <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span> is always safer and better for<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> the body</strong></em></span>.  This ignores the fact that many natural herbs and<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> foods</strong></em></span> are poisonous.  For example, arsenic, and several varieties of mushrooms.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s a moral judgment.  If a person has an <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> problem that prevents them from working, they should be assisted while encouraged to cure their <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>.  Once cured of the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>, whether for drugs or <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span>, they should be expected to find useful employment.  Clearly your GF&#8217;s mom has an <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addictive</strong></em></span> personality.  She went from drug <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> to food <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>.  An <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addict</strong></em></span> cannot be expected to perform like a healthy person.  But they CAN be expected to cooperate in regard to proper treatment for their <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">Fast <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span> outlets are not the most common place for people to become<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> food addicts</strong></em></span>.   There are no doubts fast<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> food</strong></em></span> is a huge contributor to<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> food</strong></em></span>  <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>.  But in most households, the biggest villain, when it comes to  <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span>  <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> is the pantry.   A pantry is a paradise of processed <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>carbohydrate</strong></em> <em><strong>foods</strong></em></span>.  These are the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>foods</strong></em></span> that are most likely to cause people to become <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>food addicts.</strong></em></span>   They usually house our daily breakfast, our snacks and our supplements.</p>

Here is Jessica Biels Story!" width="100" height="75" /></a> By definition, Sugar <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addicts</strong></em></span> are also <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>carbohydrate addicts!</strong></em></span></p>
<h2>A lot has been said about <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>carbohydrate addicts</strong></em></span> and what they should eat.</h2>
<p>If you watch this video you&#8217;ll see how Jessica Biel feels about her <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction.</strong></em></span>   <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/vy1MsAStb1M" frameborder="0" width="560" height="315"></iframe></p>
<h1></h1>
<p>Today, the big diet news is to follow a <em><strong>low carbs diet</strong></em>.</p>
<h1>The<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> Carbohydrate Addicts</strong></em></span> Manual takes a very different view.</h1>
<p>Instead of suggesting another<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> low carbs diet</strong></em></span>, it confronts the<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> addiction</strong></em></span> aspect head on.  No sane person tells an alcoholic to cure their <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>with less alcohol. No one tells a heavy smoker to just cut to a packet a day.  We don’t do that because we know it doesn’t work.</p>
<h3>Yet we tell <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>carbohydrate addicts</strong></em></span> to find the solution in a low carbs diet.</h3>
<p>There can only be two reasons for that. 1. We don’t have the right information. Or 2. We have a vested interest in ensuring that the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> is managed and not cured.  A <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>low carb diet</strong></em></span> is not a cure, it’s a band aid. It’s a grossly inadequate way to manage an <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> to<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> carbohydrates</strong></em></span> and it will never lead to a cure. The reason we see <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>diets</strong></em></span> as the only solution to this <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> is because of the strong influence of ‘vested interests’. Except for the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addicts</strong></em></span> themselves, there is no desire by anybody to find a cure for <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction.</strong></em></span>  That includes governments, food related corporations, dieticians and nutritionists. This is an<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> addiction</strong></em></span> that currently supports the massive cereal and snack <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span> industries.  They in turn support an army of self-proclaimed <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span> experts who promote <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>carbohydrate foods</strong></em></span>. They are backed by Quasi-science reports provided by the industry’s ‘research labs’.  There is also a formidable lobby of grain growers, who remind governments of where campaign funds originate. Is it any wonder that <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>low carb diets</strong></em></span> are pushed to the forefront as the only solution to<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em> carbohydrate addiction</em></span>?</strong> Human beings are not meant to<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> diet. </strong></em></span> Mother Nature didn’t design us that way. <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Our body</strong></em></span> cannot distinguish between a <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span> and a famine. At the end of a famine <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>the body</strong></em></span> works very hard to restore all <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>the weight</strong></em></span> we have lost.  That’s nature.  That’s why <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>diets</strong></em></span> don’t work and why a<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> diet</strong></em></span> will never give us a permanent <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>weight loss.</strong></em></span> Around forty years ago, there was a massive <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>cholesterol</strong></em></span> scare campaign which drove countless people to seek a<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> cholesterol</strong></em></span> test.   At that same time, some people saw an opportunity. They took our<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> traditional diet</strong></em></span>, and reversed it. They had a big poster made of a <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>pyramid of food.</strong></em></span> The <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span> became known as The <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Pyramid diet</strong></span>. It was a <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span> hugely dominated by <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>carbohydrates</strong></span>.  It was presented as the only solution to the mounting <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>cholesterol</strong></em></span> problem.  The fact that practically everybody proved to have <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>high cholesterol</strong></em></span> did a lot to cause a panic.  Most took refuge in the new<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> diet</strong></em></span>. Of course today we know that for more than thirty years, till quite recently, every <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>cholesterol</strong></span> test was wrong.  Instead of showing the<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> hdl ldl ratio</strong></em></span>, they simply added the numbers together.  In other words:  There never was a big <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>cholesterol</strong></em></span> problem to justify a complete reversal of our<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> traditional diet</strong></em></span>. Because The <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Pyramid diet</strong></em></span> was promoted so successfully as a:  ‘Cure’ for <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>cholesterol</strong></em></span>, it laid the foundation for <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span>.  It has created the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>obesity epidemic</strong></em></span> and the very scary <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>type2 diabetes</strong></em></span> threat we face today.  It is responsible for the highest ever rates of heart disease, colon and bowel cancer.  To top it off, many experts now claim it is also very ageing. So here is the real story behind<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> carbohydrate addiction.</strong></em></span>  You will not have heard this before.  This is about an<em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong> addiction</strong></span></em> as dangerous and debilitating as any you care to name. Few people understand it and nobody really talks about it.  When they do talk about it is to promote a<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> low carbs diet.</strong></em></span> This is an <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> that already affects 60% of the population. By 2020 that number is expected to reach 80%.  Is it fatal?  It can be. It leads to <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>morbid obesity</strong></em></span>, <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>type2 diabetes</strong></em></span>, heart disease, colon and bowel cancer.  All those diseases can lead to death. It’s normal for <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addicts</strong></em></span> to want to defend their <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>.  They’ll have excuses like; I just love sweets, I just love food etc. Smokers love to smoke, alcoholics love to drink. These are<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> addiction</strong></em></span> symptoms &#8211; not love. The fact is; <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>diets</strong></em></span> don’t work – not &#8211; ever. They can&#8217;t because our body will not let them.  Nobody healthy and normal <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>dieted</strong></em></span> 40 years ago. Today, almost everybody <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>diets</strong></em></span> sometimes. The <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Carbohydrate Addicts</strong></em></span> Manual is about how so many of us, often unknowingly, have become <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>addicted</strong></em></span> to <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>carbohydrate</strong></em></span>.  It explains who and what caused <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> and how each of us can cure the<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong> addiction</strong></em></span> within our own family.  Hence the title: <strong><a rel="nofollow" href="http://thecarbohydrateaddictsmanual.com/special/">The<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em> carbohydrate Addicts</em></span> Manual.</a></strong>   <a href="http://www.thecarbohydrateaddictsdiet.com/my-personal-story-of-my-weight-problems.html">Click here for more on <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>carbohydrate addicts</strong></em></span></a></p>

<h1>I think it&#8217;s time I put the story of my own personal <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span> on record.</h1>
<p>I think it will explain my obsession with<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> carbohydrate addiction.</strong></em></span>   Why it means so much to me, to share what I have learned about <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span>, with as many people as possible.</p>
<h2>It was very early 1980’s.  It was before <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span> became a normal thing to most people.</h2>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Type2 diabetes</strong></span> was still unknown, as was <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>morbid obesity</strong></em></span>.  I was diagnosed as a borderline diabetic and was referred to a dietician.</p>
<p>At age 43, I started my first<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> diet.</strong></em></span>  I was slim, and if not for the doctor’s diagnosis, I would have thought, very <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>healthy</strong></em></span>.  My doctor sent me to a dietician who put me on the already infamous <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Pyramid Diet</strong></em></span>.</p>
<p>The <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Pyramid Diet</strong></em></span> was the very first major<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> diet</strong></em></span> ever launched.  It was said to cure <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>high cholesterol</strong></em></span> which had suddenly become epidemic.<strong> (<a rel="nofollow" href="http://thecarbohydrateaddictsmanual.com/special/">This is a moral tale you can learn more about here)</a>. </strong> It wasn’t long before I began to<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> gain weight</strong></em></span>.  By the mid-eighties, I had serious<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> weight problems</strong></em></span>.  I would <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span>, I would <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lose weight</strong></em></span> and I would regain it soon after.  After each successive <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span>, I would end up with more <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body fat</strong></em></span> than when I began.</p>
<h3>In 1986 I gave up smoking.  This gave my doctor, my dietician and friends a gratifying reason to explain my <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span>.</h3>
<p>For quite a while, it even made sense to me.  For the next twenty years, I experimented with every <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span> ever invented.  The more I would <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>die</strong></em></span><span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>t</strong></em></span>  the more weight I would regain.  I began to realize I was constantly craving <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span> and I had started to binge eat.</p>
<p>It comforted me to remind myself of the link between my <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span> and giving up smoking.  A way of telling myself this wasn’t my fault.  But then I had a moment of enlightenment. It occurred to me that my symptoms were not<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> diet</strong></em></span> symptoms.  I realized they were identical to my past cravings for cigarettes. They were <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> symptoms. It dawned on me that I had become a<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> food addict</strong></em></span>.  Something nobody had ever suggested to me. What was worse, I was in early onset of what we now know as <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>type2 diabetes</strong></em></span>.</p>
<p>I felt used.  I knew I had to find a way to cure my <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>.  I compared all my past <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diets</strong>,</em></span> to the<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> food</strong></em></span> I used to eat before I ever began to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span>.  It was clear to me that <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate</strong></em></span> was the culprit.  I had enough past experience with tobacco <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>, to know that cutting down never works once you are an <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addict</strong></em></span>.  It became my goal to cure my <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> for good, just as I had cured my tobacco <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>.</p>
<p>It was as if a huge burden had lifted from me.  It certainly did in a literal sense. My <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span> disappeared. So too did my<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> addiction</strong></em></span>.  I have remained<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> addiction</strong></em></span> free for more than seven years.  Not only have I cured my <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>, I have permanently cured my <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span>.  I will stay this way as long as I remain friends with my own body.  To my complete amazement, as I <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lost weight</strong></em></span>, I also lost the pre-diabetic symptoms.</p>
<p>I have learned to eat the right<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> food</strong></em></span>.  These days, <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span>  has become much less important to me.  I still recall how it felt to be pre-occupied with thoughts of<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> food</strong></em></span> all the time.  Now I rarely think about <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span>. There are so many other things to think about.  I have no more early symptom of <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>type2 diabetes</strong></em></span>.  My weight is normal and no longer fluctuates.  To sum it up: I have remained <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> free, symptom free, and at the same <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body weight</strong></em></span> for more than 7 years.  I no longer have any <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food</strong></em></span> cravings and I never feel the urge to binge eat.  I know with absolute certainty that I will never <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span> again.  I won’t need to.</p>
<p>I have completely re-focused my feelings about my own body.  Instead of spending time worrying about my external appearance, I now spend an equal time making sure my internal system is happy.  It’s a place that used to be a foreign country to me. A place I thought only a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span> expert would understand.  Since I now know<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> how the body works</strong></em></span>, nobody can understand my body better than I do.</p>
<p>Because I know<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> how the body works</strong></em></span> and I know what it expects from me.  That already puts me streets ahead of any “<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span> expert”.  I have made friends with my body.  My metabolism and digestive system work together.  They make me look and feel as<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> healthy</strong></em></span> as I have ever been.</p>
<p>To gauge just how unusual that is, you can go to any home, in any town or city.  You’ll find a bathroom cabinet with at least one or two medications for a gastric or intestinal conditions.  You can visit any hospital, where they can tell you about huge waiting lists for colonoscopies. They will never be completed because they keep filling up with new names.  Forty years ago we had none of that. The vast majority of people were <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>slim people</strong></em></span>.</p>
<p>Today we have a well recorded <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>obesity epidemic</strong></em></span>.  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Type 2 diabetes</strong></em></span> is expected to follow.  Doctors will tell you that we have the highest rates ever, of heart disease, colon and bowel cancer.  We are all eating the wrong<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> food</strong></em></span>, we are choking on <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet talk</strong></em></span> and we are shortening our lives and that of our children’s.</p>
<p>There is nothing <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>healthy</strong></em></span> about the balanced <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span>, or the low fat <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span>, or the nutritious <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet</strong></em></span>, or any other<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> diet</strong></em></span>.  Not even the <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>low carbs diet.</strong></em></span>  The simple fact is that <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diets</strong></em></span> don’t work.  They can’t. Our body won’t let them.  The reality is that the human body does not adapt. – It evolves.  And evolution is slow. It takes centuries, not a few decades.  If you want to learn more please watch the video at:</p>

" alt="1288795 young woman sitting with an encyclopedia Wanna Lose Weight For Good? " /></a>    Is there a point to working hard, to try to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em>lose weight</em></span>, if you don’t lose it for good?</strong></h2>
<p>Like most people, I am sure you have had reasons to want to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lose weight.</strong></em></span>  Perhaps you have tried many times.  If so, by now, you will have come to the realization that diets don’t work.  That’s a good thing, because you are absolutely right. Diets don’t work.  You must promise yourself never again try to use a diet to solve your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span>.</p>
<h1>No human being can<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> lose weight</strong></em></span>  for good on a diet and here is why.</h1>
<p>Your own body will not let you.  It’s programmed to recognize a famine, not a diet. As far as your body is concerned, there is no difference between a diet and a famine.</p>
<p>Unlike a diet, your body has been programmed to handle a famine.  It slows down your metabolism and prepares to store<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> body fat</strong></em></span>.  As soon as the famine is over, your body goes to work to repair the damage and to re-gain every bit of weight that was lost during the famine.  Your body will not rest till it has restored not just the weight you lost, but an extra layer of <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body fat</strong></em></span> to protect you against the next famine.</p>
<p>So is there a genuine way to get a permanent <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight loss</strong></em></span>?  The answer is yes.  But you will never find it with a diet.  To<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> lose weight</strong></em></span> longer than fleetingly, you need to first learn the cause of your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span>.  First you need to understand why you must never diet again.  You need to learn what happened forty years ago, to trigger the <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span> and <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>obesity epidemic</strong></em></span> we endure today.  Make no mistake, even if there a few &#8216;experts&#8217; who know <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>how the body works</strong></em></span>, it&#8217;s not in their interest to tell you.</p>
<p>You will also need to learn about <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span>.  It is not the benign, sweet tooth mindset, that ‘diet experts’ would like you to believe and no &#8211; it will not be cured with a<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> low carbs diet</strong></em></span>.  You should bear in mind that the people who persuade you to diet, are not in business to cure either your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> or your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span>. They are certainly not in business to help you <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lose weight</strong></em></span> for good.  Yes, they want you to<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> lose weight</strong></em></span>, but they don’t expect the weight to stay away for long.</p>
<p>Their expectations are that you’ll be back for a new diet in a year or two, even sooner. Why?  Because they know diets don’t work and the more you diet the fatter you get.  So do exactly what they don&#8217;t expect you to do: Stop dieting.  Give your body a chance to heal all that damage wrought by your diets.  Learn how to help your metabolism get over the damage your diets have caused. Help it get back to the job it was programmed to do:  To control and Balance your weight.  This was never meant to be YOUR job.  You can trust that your body, when it works, will perform a far better job than you could ever hope to do.</p>
<p>Please believe this: You have not failed your diets.  Nobody could have done any better.  If there’s a fault it is not with you, it’s with every diet you have ever used.  All diets are an insult to your own body and a confrontation with nature.  An argument with nature is an argument you will never win.</p>
<p>Don’t believe in promises.  Don’t believe in miracle diets or good news stories.  The self-nominated experts, who are so glib and clever with ‘<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>diet talk</strong></em></span>’ are the same people who can’t tell you what will happen to the food you eat, after it has passed your lips.  Begin to trust your body, make friends with it and learn to understand it.  Get it back to work just as nature always intended.  I can promise you, you’ll never regret it.  This is not rocket science but it&#8217;s a manual that can teach you how to cure your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> and  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lose weight</strong></em></span> for good. It will improve your life and make it a lot longer.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">It has been found that for <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>morbidly obese</strong></em></span> people,  THC works to stabilize there intake of food. Ingesting hemp oil has even more of an effect then smoking THC. You should watch the documentary, Fighting for a cure, with Rick Simpson. It will help you shed some light on this issue.</p>

<h3>kbp-admin answers:</h3>
<p class="dtm-content">Unfortunately we live in a diet fixated society.  Diets are not the answer to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>morbid obesity</strong></em></span>.   But then surgery is a truly radical solution and should always be the last resort.  Before I give you what I believe is the fastest, least intrusive solution.  One that actually works and has no innate risks to your health.  Let me point out that till just forty years ago, there was no <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>obesity epidemic</strong></em></span>.  The vast majority of people were slim and healthy.  They suffered neither <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>morbid obesity</strong></em></span> or<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> type2 diabetes</strong></em></span>.  Both these diseases can be fatal and both have been flagged as future epidemics.  What will probably shock you more is that forty years ago, <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>morbid obesity</strong></em></span> and<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> type2 diabetes</strong></em></span> had never been heard of.</p>
<p class="dtm-content">I don&#8217;t know what that indicates to you, but to me it means that something important, even radical, changed around forty years ago.  That something was our <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Natural Diet</strong></em></span> which till then was favored by most people.  But then we had a phoney scare campaign about <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>cholesterol.</strong></em></span>  Some untrained, unqualified people had created a diet they called The <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Pyramid Diet</strong></em></span>.  We were assured that this was a tested and proven diet that would cure <em><strong>cholesterol</strong></em>.</p>
<p class="dtm-content">It was a lie on both counts. No research, no human trials or any kind of legitimate scientific tests were ever conducted.  The people who created the <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Pyramid diet,</strong></em></span>  were not qualified to make the assertions they did.  The <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>pyramid diet</strong></em></span> was simply an exact reversal of our traditional, <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>natural diet</strong></em></span>.  That was the extent of the research.  Despite this, millions of people were driven and coerced to adopt this diet.  When people began to diet, they also began to get<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> weight problems.</strong></em>  <em><strong>Weight problems</strong></em></span> have led to an <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>obesity epidemic</strong></em></span>.  Now, after a 40 year deluge of untested, untried diets.  We witness looming, life threatening epidemics of both <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> morbid obesity</strong></em></span> and<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> type2 diabetes.</strong></em></span></p>
<p class="dtm-content">It would be easy to say that we should all simply revert back to our<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> natural diet</strong></em></span>.  But real life is never that simple.  You see, today, not only do we have an <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>obesity epidemic</strong></em></span>, we have evidence that 60% of the population are<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> addicted to carbohydrates</strong></em></span>.  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> Morbidly obese</strong></em></span> people are almost certainly <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addicted to carbohydrates</strong></em></span>.  So my non-surgical, none evasive solution to tackle <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>morbid obesity</strong></em></span> is to first and foremost Cure The <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Addiction</strong></em></span>.  There have been numerous examples to show that when <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> disappears, so does <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span> and <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> obesity</strong></em></span>.  So I say to you, what have you got to lose?</p>

<h3>What kinds of non-surgical treatments are available to treat <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em>Morbid Obesity</em></span>?</h3>
<p>I&#8217;m a 24 year old college student who has not had health insurance since 2002. I currently go to Curves and I HAVE been watching my diet for the past six months, but so far haven&#8217;t lost more than 15 pounds&#8230;</p>
<p>I do fall under the category of <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>morbid</strong> <strong>obesity</strong></em></span>&#8230; extremely so. And surgery is just not an option. What other kinds of treatments are available for <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>morbidly obese</strong></em></span> people? I&#8217;m pretty much willing to do just about anything diet-wise.  My biggest problem is the exercise. When I first started going to curves, I loved it because it didn&#8217;t put stress on my joints&#8230; but you&#8217;re only supposed to go 4 times a week for a half an hour&#8230; and there&#8217;s little to no cardio involved. You can burn a maximum of 800 calories in that half an hour&#8230; but 800 calories every other day just isn&#8217;t doing it.</p>
<p>I need a program where I can burn more calories than I&#8217;m taking in&#8230; withOUT hurting my joints&#8230; 300 pounds and a jump rope is usually a bad combination&#8230; as is jogging.<br />
Just a side note: Keep rude comments to yourself. Questions like this always tend to pull the fat-haters out of the woodwork and quite frankly, I don&#8217;t want to hear about it.  I&#8217;m looking for honest, informed answers that will help me <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lose weight</strong></em></span> and get healthy.  I don&#8217;t expect a bikini body&#8230; I just want to be able to walk down the street without getting rude comments and food thrown at me out of car windows. Something that happens almost daily&#8230; Just one of the reasons why I don&#8217;t like walking outside.</p>

<h3>kbp-admin answers:</h3>
<p class="dtm-content">Okay I&#8217;m a great believer in exercise, but not for someone who is <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>morbidly obese</strong></em></span>:</p>
<p>I strongly urge to read the answer to the questions above.  It is a solution that I think is tailor-made for you. Why? You are a smart young woman who is not afraid to take action.  You deserve genuine advice that will produce an equally genuine result.  Not some diet that will eventually worsen your<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> weight problem</strong></em></span>.  You see, human beings are not designed to diet.  All our body knows when we cut down on our food, is that we are in a famine.  Your body has a built-in program just for that.  It slows down your metabolism and prepares to store <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body fat</strong></em></span>.  As soon as the famine is over your body has no choice but to restore every ounce of<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> fat</strong></em></span> you have lost.  That&#8217;s to protect you against the next famine. Each time it will add a little extra<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> fat</strong></em></span>.</p>
<p>You need to know that you do not fail your diets.  The diets &#8211; all diets fail you.  That&#8217;s because diets don&#8217;t work.  We are not designed for diets.  You can&#8217;t fight nature and expect to win.  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Morbid obesity</strong></em></span> doesn&#8217;t have to be a sentence. But you need to understand your body and to work with it instead of against it. <strong> <a rel="nofollow" href="http://thecarbohydrateaddictsmanual.com/special">This is a non-threatening solution</a>.</strong> What have you got to lose?  Cure your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> and not only will you <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lose the weight</strong></em></span>, your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food cravings</strong></em></span> will disappear.</p>

<h2>Half-Ton Mom &amp; Morbid Obesity; I don&#8217;t understand?</h2>
<p>I&#8217;m currently watching a show on TLC called Half-Ton Mom and I was thinking to myself: How is it that these people allow themselves to get so big? This woman is nearly 900 pounds! You would think that by around 300lbs., one would realize that they need <strong>treatment</strong> for compulsive eating. I&#8217;m not trying to sound mean, but it angers me that people would do this to themselves. Is this a form of self-harm or a hidden desire to die??? I just don&#8217;t understand. <p>I literally cringe!</p>
<p>Look at it this way: If you have a friend who smokes or drinks heavily, and appears to be out of control, you may suggest they cut down on their usage.  But deep in your heart you know they’re not likely to change their behaviour till they cure their <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>.</p>
<p>The same applies to a drug <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addict</strong></em></span>.  Even a person very close to you, if <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addicted</strong></em></span> to drugs, would laugh at you for suggesting they should cut down on their drug use.</p>
<p>Yet that’s exactly what we do when we tell a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addict</strong></em></span> to go on a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>low carbs diet</strong></em></span>.</p>
<h2>So what’s so different about <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span>?</h2>
<p>That’s just it, there isn’t one.  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Carbohydrate addicts</strong></em></span> suffer cravings, withdrawals, binges, headaches, pains in their body and low self-esteem.  If they continue their<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> addiction</strong></em></span> they face the risks of <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>morbid obesity</strong></em></span>, <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>type2 diabetes</strong></em></span>, heart disease, colon and bowel cancers.  All these diseases are potentially fatal.  People who ignore the consequences of <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> carbohydrate </strong></em><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> are likely to face a much shorter life. The quality of life, for their children is destined for the same risks and the same future.</p>
<p>For the past forty years, people have been subtly trained and induced to distance themselves from their inner body.  That part of us has gradually become the domain of self-elected diet experts and Guru&#8217;s.   Our focus now is all about the exterior of our body.  We are catered to by cosmetic companies, fashion companies, vanity surgeons and diet experts.  Our appearance overrides everything, including our own internal system.  We expect experts to look after that with miracle diets, exercise programs and pre-packaged detoxifications.</p>
<p>We are simply too busy with our exterior to give our interior body a thought.  It is interesting to note that till forty years ago, people knew <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>how the body works</strong></em></span>.  They understood the consequences of not listening and responding to their metabolism and digestive system.  The inside of pharmacies in those days looked very different to how they look today.</p>
<h3><span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> is not benign. It is not harmless and it does have consequences.</h3>
<p>Many of those consequences are deadly serious.  The <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>obesity epidemic</strong></em></span> is a fact.  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Type2 diabetes</strong></em></span> is close to epidemic numbers.  We have the highest ever rates of heart disease, colon and bowel cancers.  These are just the fatal diseases we risk. There are dozens less dangerous diseases that will impact our lives.</p>
<p>Every person in the country can find a remedy tucked away in a draw or a medicine cabinet. A medication for indigestion, constipation, heartburn, reflux and a dozen other diet related complaints.  We assume that’s normal.  But it represents a signal to us that our body is not coping with our diets and behaviour.  The diets we follow today are in direct conflict with our own body.</p>
<p>So why do responsible, seemingly well intentioned people like nutritionists and diet guru’s claim to know how to solve your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span>.  They believe they know what they are talking about because they are fed irresponsible quasi science by their sponsors.  They are cereal diet and snack food manufacturers.</p>
<p>These are very powerful corporations, with lobby groups close to governments. They in turn are supported by the grain growing industry.  Nobody, including your government, is going to contradict their ‘expert’ advice.  These multi-billion dollar corporations, are wholly dependent on your diet and <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span>.  Do you honestly think they’re going make it easy for you to change your beliefs and behaviour?</p>
<p>So what changed forty years ago that could force people, who had never needed a diet, to suddenly accept food so different to what they were used to?   What changed us all was an event that would make people in their millions, abandon a diet that had been with us for generations. It would make us forget what goes on inside our body and begin to put all our focus on our external selves?</p>
<p>It was a world-wide <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>cholesterol</strong></em></span> scare campaign.  Millions of people proved to have<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> high cholesterol</strong></em></span>.</p>
<p>To help push <em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em> along, a new profession was created.  People who harboured a desire for a niche on the fringe of medicine, boldly decided to create a diet to cure<em><strong> high cholesterol</strong></em>.  They called themselves Nutritionists.  No formal qualifications were necessary. They closely examined our<em><strong> natural diet</strong></em> and figured the best way to get an original diet, was to completely reverse the old one.  They had a poster made depicting a pyramid.  Hence the diet became known as the<em><strong> Pyramid Diet</strong></em>.</p>
<p>Heavy undertones abounded that this was indeed the first modern, scientific way for people to eat.  An entire Quasi-science scenario was built around the diet.  In time the diet was recommended by many doctors.  It was a magnificent accomplishment for people who had no knowledge of science or medicine.</p>
<p>This new diet was, we were told, specifically designed to combat <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>high cholesterol</strong></em></span>.  A lot of people were driven by fear to switch to this new way of eating.  What nobody knew was that the scare campaign about <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>cholesterol</strong></em></span> was a beat up. It was false.  Why? Very few people would have actually suffered from <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>high cholesterol</strong></em></span>. The test methodology was wrong.  Instead of gauging the HDL LDL variation, they simply added the numbers together.  This inevitably produced a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>high cholesterol</strong></em></span> reading for most people.</p>
<p>Our first instinct is to imagine that such a fraud would have been unmasked very quickly.  But that’s not what happened.  It took around thirty years for the powers that be, to confess there had been an error.  When it finally happened, it was quiet, subdued and very low key.  By that time there was a massive industry in place, build on the premise that <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate</strong></em></span>  is the foundation for energy and good health.  They will not sit still for an outcry about <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span>.</p>
<p>I have yet to hear of anyone prepared to ask these rather simple, obvious questions:  What did a complete reversal of our diet do to our internal system?  Why, during the reign of the<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> pyramid diet</strong></em></span> and other <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate diets</strong></em></span>, have we also experienced an <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>epidemic of </strong></em><em><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline"><em>o</em></span>besity</strong></em></span>?  Why are our lives suddenly threatened by <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>type2 diabetes</strong></em></span> and <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>morbid obesity</strong></em></span>.  These are two diseases that did not even exist forty years ago.  Why is everybody still getting fat and why has ‘<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>protein</strong></em></span>’ become a dirty word?</p>
<p>We all need to accept that Diets don’t work.  Our body is programmed to treat a diet as a famine.  Nature will make sure every ounce of fat you lose in a famine is restored as soon as possible. It will even including a few extra pounds for protection against the next diet.</p>
<p>Today<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> Carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> is at a cross road.  We want to ignore it. To call it an innocent love for sweets, Pizza or some other <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate.</strong></em></span>  But already, victims exceed 60% of the population.  We have tipped the half way mark and the figure is already expected to reach 80% by 2020.  Don’t wait for others to act to help you.  Only you and those who love you will want you to change anything.  Take charge of your life and cure your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span>. If not for your own good, then do it for your children’s future. If you click the link to The <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Carbohydrate Addicts</strong></em></span> Manual, you&#8217;ll find a video and other relevant information about <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction.</strong></em></span></p>

<h1>Can you explain to someone how the body works?</h1>
<h1><img src="http://www.thecarbohydrateaddictsdiet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Kirstens-flower-150x150.jpg" alt="Kirstens flower 150x150 Do You Ever Wonder How The Body Works?" title="Do You Ever Wonder How The Body Works?" /></h1>
<p>I have created a new video.  I hope you find it informative and helpful.  Please post your views and comments.  They are always appreciated.</p>
<p>I think you will agree that very few of us give our internal body a second Thought.  We all think of ourselves in terms of our exterior. Like our skin, our hair, our body our looks etc.  Yet it is inside that the really important stuff takes place.</p>
<h2>Just a few decades ago, most people had a connection to their body. They knew <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em>how the body works</em></span>.</h2>
<p>They knew the type of food that was important to our metabolism and digestive system and they knew how our body would respond.</p>
<p>Today that has all changed. We have passed the responsibility of our body&#8217;s health and welfare to people who call themselves experts. It has become all too hard.</p>
<h3> A few people can still explain <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em>how the body works</em></span>.</h3>
<p>Even fewer people know how our internal system responds to a diet &#8211; any diet. But what is truly scary? Nobody really cares!</p>
<p>I hope this video will help to change that!</p>

<h2 style="text-align: center"><strong>Here are a few Q’s and A’s about <em><span style="text-decoration: underline">carbohydrate addiction</span></em> and why you should be worried!</strong></h2>
<h2 style="text-align: center"><img src="http://www.thecarbohydrateaddictsdiet.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/1155909_family.jpg" alt="1155909 family You Honestly Think Carbohydrate Addiction Is No Threat To YOU?" title="You Honestly Think Carbohydrate Addiction Is No Threat To YOU?" /></h2>
<h1 style="text-align: left">Q. Exactly how serious is <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Carbohydrate Addiction</strong></em></span> to YOU!</h1>
<p>A. It’s a greater threat than drug, tobacco or alcohol <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> because it is a lot more common and what’s worse, it’s legal.  Even children are encouraged to get <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addicted</strong></em></span>!</p>
<p>Q. You find that hard to believe?</p>
<p>A. It is estimated that more than 60% of the population are<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> addicted</strong></em></span> to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span>. That number grows daily!</p>
<p>Q. If it’s so bad, why does the government not put a stop to it?</p>
<p>A. All governments are under duress from the giant cereal and snack food manufacturers, as well as grain growers, nutritionists and diet guru’s. Their products promote <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span>.  The corporations have their own in-house science labs. From there they support the government and self-elected experts, with money and fake science. As long as ‘experts’ like these preside on government enquiry boards and make decisions on what our kids will eat at school, nothing will change.  The<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> obesity epidemic</strong></em></span>, along with <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span>, which plagues children and adults alike, will be passed on to the next generation.  The government will do nothing to stop that.</p>
<p>Q. If you have a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problem</strong></em></span>, should you automatically be worried about <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span>?</p>
<p>A. A <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problem</strong></em></span> is a sign you are eating too many <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span>.  Chances are you are already <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addicted</strong></em></span>.</p>
<p>Q. What are the symptoms of <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> that will verify if you are <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addicted</strong></em></span>?</p>
<p>A. They are the same as all other <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addictions</strong></em></span>: Cravings, withdrawals, binges, depression, headaches and other aches and pains!</p>
<p>Q. Is<em><strong> Carbohydrate Addiction</strong></em> fatal?</p>
<p>A. It can be. It leads to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>morbid obesity</strong></em></span>, <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>type2 diabetes</strong></em></span>, heart disease, colon and bowel cancer. All are potentially fatal!</p>
<p>Q. Will cutting down on fat help you lose weight?</p>
<p>A. If you reduce your fat intake, you will stimulate your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span>. Eating less fat will ultimately make you fatter.  Butchers these days have a lot to answer for. They have emaciated and ruined what we used to call good healthy meat!</p>
<p>Q. How is that possible?</p>
<p>A. It’s not the fat you eat that makes you fat.  The problem is the <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span> you eat, and don’t spend on fuel.  They are converted to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body fat</strong></em></span>.  That’s the fat that makes you fat.  The more <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span> you eat the more <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body fat</strong></em></span> you get!  The proof is all around you.  Everybody is getting fat.  Today we all eat way more food than our body needs, particularly <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span>.  You would need to be a high powered top athlete to burn all the<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> carbohydrates</strong></em></span> you eat for fuel.</p>
<p>Q Will a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>low carb diet</strong></em></span> help you lose the weight?</p>
<p>A.  A <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>low carb diet</strong></em></span> is useful only if you are not <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addicted</strong></em></span> to<strong> </strong><em><strong></strong></em><span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span>. Cutting down on <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrates</strong></em></span> is no different than cutting down on cigarettes, alcohol or drugs.  It does not cure the<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> addiction</strong></em></span>.  The addiction will always win out and sooner or later the fat will be back.  With each diet, a little more fat than before!</p>
<p>Q. What diet should you choose to<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> lose weight</strong></em></span> for good?</p>
<p>A. You shouldn’t diet at all. When you diet you declare war against your own body.  It doesn’t understand diets. It responds as if you are in a famine.  It slows you down and begins to store <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>body fat</strong></em></span>.  As soon as you return to normal, your body is programmed to restore the weight. It even adds a bit extra to protect you against the next famine!</p>
<p>Q. Is there anything you can do to <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>lose the weight</strong></em></span> for good?</p>
<p>A. Yes!  But it begins with curing your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span>.  As a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>carbohydrate addict</strong></em></span>, you cannot be around food temptations any more than a drug addict can be around available drugs.  But unlike a cure for drug <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>addiction</strong></em></span> – you do not have to give up food.</p>
<h3>Q. What happens if you cure your <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em>carbohydrate addiction</em></span>?</h3>
<p>A. You return to normal weight. The cravings, binges and hunger pains disappear.  You free up all that time you’ve been using,h to just to think and dream about food.  That’s free time to enjoy your new body and to put some fun back in your life!</p>
<p>Here are a few additional questions that probably should have been asked:</p>
<ol>
<li>Why were we mostly <strong><em><span style="text-decoration: underline">slim people</span></em></strong> till the late seventies?</li>
<li>Who caused the biggest medical gaffe in 40 years that we pay dearly for today?</li>
<li>What caused people to become <strong><em><span style="text-decoration: underline">carbohydrate addicts</span></em></strong>?</li>
<li>What triggered <strong><em><span style="text-decoration: underline">carbohydrate addiction</span></em></strong>?</li>
<li>What can we do about it, to fix it for good?</li>
</ol>

<h1>What&#8217;s the point of a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight loss</strong></em></span>  unless it&#8217;s a permanent <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>weight loss</strong></span>?</h1>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="425" height="344" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ywl2pgVEozI?hl=en&amp;fs=1" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen="true"> </iframe></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>What if you knew a way to stop <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food cravings</strong></em></span> and binges for good?  What if you could teach people a new healthier way to connect with their own body?</p>
<p>and in the process, show them how to cure their  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>food addiction</strong></em></span>.</p>
<h2>What if you could show them how to get a permanent <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight loss</strong></em></span>?</h2>
<p>would you share that knowledge?  A lot of people will not!        <a href="http://www.thecarbohydrateaddictsdiet.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/431589_hide_and_seek.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-5918" src="http://www.thecarbohydrateaddictsdiet.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/431589_hide_and_seek.jpg" height="33" title="5 Tips On The secret For A Permanent Weight Loss! [video]" alt="431589 hide and seek 5 Tips On The secret For A Permanent Weight Loss! [video]" /></a></p>
<p>In my case It is my mission and I am totally devoted to sharing what I know.  It’s a forty year old  <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight loss</strong></em></span> secret I share with very few other people. Most of those people  Will never share the secret with anyone.  Why?  They depend on it for their status and income.  If they tell you, the truth about <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight problems</strong></em></span>, the knowledge will spread, you will no longer need them and they&#8217;ll be out of business.</p>
<p>So what is my secret?  The video will have given you some clues.  I was able to get my body to actually help me<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> lose weight</strong></em></span> for good.  It was not that difficult and it did not take that long.  But it went against everything the &#8216;experts&#8217; tell and what we are being taught today.</p>
<p>My <u>weight loss</u> has so far lasted more than 7 years.  It happened because my body helped me to cure my<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong> carbohydrate addiction</strong></em></span> and re-activate my metabolism.  I did exactly what my body wanted me to do and as a reward, I got the dreamed of <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>weight loss</strong></em></span> that will last for good.</p>
<h3>I know my<span style="text-decoration: underline"><em> weight loss</em></span> will never return as long as I continue to consider my body when I make a decision about food.</h3>
