Slim People - Where Did they All go?

Not Long Ago, You Could Walk Down Any Street And See Mostly

slim people!

Today we don’t see many

slim people.

You probably wonder why?

What changed?  –   Our diet changed. We went from foods with protein, to carbohydrates foods virtually overnight.  We sowed the seeds for carbohydrate addiction and gradually we all began to get fat.

Today’s diet is nothing like the the food our body was designed to eat.  It is ridicules to expect evolution to catch up to irresponsible, self imposed new rules for the digestive system in a mere 30 years.  The fact that we are no longer slim people is our own fault.

The carbohydrate addicts Manual!

by

Kirsten Plotkin

Will answer those questions.

You will learn why the slim people disappeared and what we did to cause it!

Most important of all, you will learn how to fix it!

Carbohydrate addicts - Is It True?

Please note: All  information in this article,  about carbohydrate addicts, is based on the soon to be published book:

The carbohydrate addicts manual!

Written by: Kirsten Plotkin

MY CARTOON 117642001 Carbohydrate addicts Is It True?

This book will explain what carbohydrate addiction isHow you get it, what causes it and how it will affect your life.  You will discover when the first carbohydrate addicts began to appear.  Who and what drove them to an obesity diet and finally – What We Can Do To Cure Carbohydrate Addicts for good- Today!

For almost forty years, we have been bullied and coerced to eat carbohydrates foods instead of foods with protein.  We have become carbohydrate addicts not to mention, mere obesity statistics. Worst of all?  We are left wide open to type2 diabetes.

I won’t say that some new easy diet plan doesn’t work.  Who knows, it might reduce your weight.  But like a pony trick, it will last only a short time.  When you stop the diet, yourcarbohydrate addicts body returns to normal. Eventually, all your weight loss is back where your body knows it belongs.

When you diet you declare war not only on your body, but on nature.  Your body is not built for an easy diet plan and it is not able to process today’s carbohydrates foods. No matter how often you try to diet, or how much weight you lose in the process, you will eventually get it all back,  plus some. Your carbohydrate addiction guarantees you are destined to join the obesity statistics.

It is not possible for carbohydrate addicts to remain on a diet!

When you start to diet your brain sends a message to your body which says in effect:  We have a famine!  From then on, any weight you lose is treated as weight lost through starvation.  Foods with protein will rarely be on your menu. That’s because your cravings for carbohydrates foods will increase to ensure that your body can recover the lost weight.

This is important to all the millions of  carbohydrate addicts, who have already lost control.  You will join the obesity statistics.   But even more serious, you are very likely to get type2 diabetes.   Type2 diabetes is a dangerous disease which is entirely diet related.

Can you eat carbohydrates foods and still lose weight on a diet?  No!  People have tried that for forty years – without success.  I’m sure you’ve tried yourself.  The fact is diets don’t work!  Your body has become programmed to crave carbohydrates foods, and to ignore any signs of carbohydrate addiction.   Sure, you can lose weight, but your body will always get it back – sooner or later.

You need to understand;  you don’t have a weight problem – you have a carbohydrate addicts problem.  You are eating the wrong food, you eat way too much of it and your body doesn’t like that kind of food.   Your body is not designed to process the carbohydrates foods we eat today.

Becoming carbohydrate addicts is no accident!

Carbohydrate addiction is the result of  meddling by unqualified people which began around 40 years ago.  The result can best be described as an epidemic of carbohydrate addicts,  obesity statistics.

By not taking action to prevent becoming carbohydrate addicts, we join the millions of other carbohydrate addicts. That means we eventually become obese and exposed to obesity diseases and type2 diabetes.

Am I scaring you?  I sure hope so!  Chances are nobody else will.  Millions of dollars have been staked on growing obesity statistics and YOUR ongoing weight problems. It drives whole industries.  Sure they want you to diet they just don’t want you to cure your carbohydrate addiction and lose the weight for good!

To those who are carbohydrate addicts:  You must first treat your carbohydrate addiction and allow your body to recover. Then you’ll have to change to the foods most people ate naturally thirty – forty years ago. Not till you cure your carbohydrate addiction will you be safe from obesity statistics and type2 diabetes.

Our traditional diet kept us healthy and allowed us to survive and thrive for centuries.  Carbohydrate addicts did not become noticeable till around 30 years ago.  Before that, the traditional diet worked perfectly without any help from nutritionists; dietitians diet gurus, food manufacturers and multi-national corporations.  None of those professions existed back then.  Now that they do, they do not want to see a nation of slim people.

We don’t need a balanced diet, we need the diet our body was designed for, the diet we all used when most of us were slim people. That’s when carbohydrate addicts were unheard of and it was long before carbohydrate addiction and type2 diabetes, even existed.  It was when we listened to our mother’s and grandmother’s and followed our Traditional Diet.

The Real Truth About Carbohydrate Addicts!

What is the truth about carbohydrate addicts?

By Kirsten Plotkin:

kirsten125x1256 The Real Truth About Carbohydrate Addicts!

The numbers of Carbohydrate addicts, along with present obesity statistics,  continue to be the biggest obstacle to weight loss today!

Maybe it is the bombardment of conflicting advice about carbohydrate addicts. Many still doubt carbohydrate addiction even exists. It leaves us uncertain about who to trust. At some level I believe we are all aware that none of the diet advice we get today is backed up by either facts or logic. It does not consider carbohydrate addiction, or the fact that the last thing carbohydrate addict’s need is yet another diet.

Shouldn’t we know how we became carbohydrate addicts?

Before you put anything into your body, particularly if you are feeding a carbohydrate addiction,  shouldn’t you first know how your body works and what effect carbohydrate addiction is likely to have?  Most people used to know that.  But since diets became normal,  we have handed the welfare of our body to people who have no interest in how it works.  They do not care about obesity statistics or how carbohydrate addiction began.  They care even less about type2 diabetes and its connection to carbohydrate addiction.

Frankly, they have no interest in the welfare of carbohydrate addicts, they really just want you to test their latest diet!

Fundamental information about your body and how it works is not rocket science.  The ignorance on that subject today is the reason obesity statisticscarbohydrate addiction and type2 diabetes have been free to flourish.  Unfortunately, people no longer seem prepared to share that information. They prefer to shroud it in mystery and quasi science. That may be because they can only remain ‘experts’ as long as they possess exclusive knowledge.

To recognize carbohydrate addicts and to know if you have the beginnings of type2 diabetes, it’s critical to know what happens when you eat the wrong food.  Once you do know, you will come to an irrefutable conclusion:  Diets don’t work. They can’t because the body won’t let them. This is the truth about carbohydrate addicts,  that so called ‘experts’ fear. At least those who know how the body works. Many do not!

Is it any wonder the people who profit from our carbohydrate addiction either don’t know the facts, or they do not want YOU to know them?  Not knowing is what leaves us wide open to the next charlatan who can show us any new easy diet plan to lose weight.   As long as we don’t understand our own body we are easily persuaded to follow anyone who offers hope.

I’m going to ask three simple questions: When people started to diet 40 years ago, were they mostly slim people?  Was carbohydrate addiction unheard of? And was type2 diabetes unknown?  The easy answer by anyone who was an adult at that time is a simple Yes, to all three.

In less than forty years of dieting, we have gone from a majority of slim people to a majority of fat people and widespread obesity statistics indicate that in another decade 80% of us will be fat, and already classified as carbohydrate addicts, – will you be one of them?

Based only on basic anatomy, something we should all know, we have to conclude that diets do not work! In fact there is an extremely good case to suggest that diets are the cause of the obesity statistics - the growing numbers of carbohydrate addicts – and the looming type2 diabetes epidemic we see today.  If you don’t know how your body works how are you expected to know what type of food to eat?

When you get a pet, don’t you first ask what kind of food to give it? Do you really want to trust other people with their own agenda to tell you what to put into your body? Particularly in light of the ample evidence that carbohydrate addicts continue to multiply and type2 diabetes affects more people every day!

The truth is once you know, in simple terms, what carbohydrate addiction means to you and how your body works, you will also know what to eat and what not to eat. You will quickly realize that there’s no such thing as an easy diet plan.  Diets truly don’t work and will stop you from any chance of ever losing your weight for good.

Q&A on The Carbohydrate Addicts Manual!

<h1 style="text-align: I’ve compile a Q&A which will answer twelve important questions about

carbohydrate addicts.

Kirsten Plotkin Author

of the soon to be published

The carbohydrate addicts manual

kirsten125x12510 Q&A on The Carbohydrate Addicts Manual!

1. What special knowledge gives me the right to write a book about carbohydrate addiction?

First my age. I’m an energetic 69 year old who happens to have something not many people can match? Then there’s my knowledge and love of history, some facts about events that go back more than forty-five years, that have caused so many people to become carbohydrate addicts today.

2. With all that I knew, how could I let myself become one of the millions of carbohydrate addicts we see today? How could I spend 20 years chasing one obesity diet after another, overweight and frozen in indecision?

My mistake was to listen to experts when, what I call my innate “Bull Dust” barometer was screaming: “This is all wrong”!

3. Could it be that my mistakes in failing to recognize my carbohydrate addiction are also your mistakes?

You see I listened to the wrong people till it was almost too late. They were the ‘experts’, most other people listened to them with reverence. How could I be right and they be wrong?

4. Why did it take me twenty years to begin to ask the right question about carbohydrate addiction  and to link carbohydrate addicts to the obesity statistics and type2 diabetes?

Like you, I wanted to believe these people. They were about the future and what they said seemed clever and true.  Like most people, I was seduced by words like new, modern,  green healthy, diets,  calories and detox.  Like so many,  I lost my way and completely forgot what I knew.  In any case, surely they knew better than me?

5. What finally brought me to my senses and made me question the obvious?  It was the escalating obesity statistics, and the near epidemic type2 diabetes numbers.  Most of all I think is was the shock of seeing little kids start school already obese.  That had never been seen in the past.

One of the few benefits of  growing older is that you become more skeptical. You can look down your telescope and see how it was before. You have had time to learn that it’s not about what people claim, it’s about where their claims originate and what they are based on. You begin to realize that ‘experts’ are not always expert and they do not always know more than you do.

6. Why is my information about carbohydrate addicts more correct than statements and promises made by those other people?

I have an advantage. I remember how it all began and who started it. I know why today we have an obesity epidemic and why the same is true of carbohydrate addiction.  When people offer advice for carbohydrate addicts today, it’s invariably done in the context of “the right diet” when instead it should be about a cure for carbohydrate addiction.  Till that’s changed or you change it, you’ll continue to be one of the carbohydrate addicts.

7. How can I be so sure I’m right about carbohydrate addiction?

When we think of other common addictions like tobacco and alcohol we don’t think about ways to live a healthier life using those substances, we think about how we can cure the addiction. That rule is ignored when it comes to carbohydrate addicts and the spread of carbohydrate addiction!

8. Why is that?

When we think of ourselves as carbohydrate addicts we are encouraged to think about what is the right diet that will fit in with our craving for carbohydrates foods. The word addiction rarely enters into that equation. So before we do anything, shouldn’t we be thinking and talking about how to cure carbohydrate addiction?

9. Why do people skirt the subject of carbohydrate addiction?

In the past people used to skirt around the subjects of tobacco and alcohol addiction. For a long time, people were not truly convinced that these were genuine addictions. Today we see the same knee jerk response from people who should know better when it comes to carbohydrate addicts and their addiction.

10. Why the reluctance to officially acknowledge that addictions, including carbohydrate addiction exists?

There were too many ‘experts’ and corporations citing their own research about the safety of smoking and drinking in moderation.  Today we see the same thing happen to carbohydrate addiction.  We listen to the message we want to hear.  In this case the message that says carbohydrate addicts can be cured with yet another diet.  That’s how all addictions thrive, including carbohydrate addiction, and how we are so easily manipulated by the ‘experts’!

11. How important is carbohydrate addiction compared to other addictions?

They are equally important. An addiction is just that. An overpowering compulsion to do, or eat, or use something over which you have no self control. The only variation is your choice of substance. The moment somebody puts the focus on carbohydrate addiction, shouldn’t the first question be:  How do we cure it? But you see, that’s when it becomes a problem… Not to people like us – the carbohydrate addicts, but to all those vested interests who profit from our addiction.

12. What can YOU expect to learn from ME about carbohydrate addiction?

I’ll show you when the groundwork that caused us all to become carbohydrate addicts was first laid.  I’ll tell you what caused it and why it continues to this day.  Unless you know the truth, you will never be fully ready to change your lifestyle and overcome your carbohydrate addiction.  And yes, I will teach you how to overcome the addiction, never crave it again and lose the weight for good.

When you are back in control of your body, for the rest of your life, your choices might surprise you!

Carbohydrate Addicts - Where did they come from?

MY CARTOON 117642004 Carbohydrate Addicts Where did they come from?

It’s time we officially recognize carbohydrate addiction

and the huge health threat it poses

to those who are carbohydrate addicts!

I have been posting a lot of videos about The Carbohydrate Addicts Diet and I suddenly realized that you don’t know much about me. I want to change that by telling you my story.

I’m a youthful, 69 year old retired grandmother. I was in business for many years and never had the opportunity to write seriously. Once I started, around 6 years ago, that all changed. I’m now just as busy writing as I ever was in my business.  I have beaten my carbohydrate addiction for good and I’ll not be found in the carbohydrate addicts category ever again.  At long last, I’m one of the slim people again.  I no longer worry about calories or obesity statistics.

So how did I end up writing about carbohydrate addicts? Well, I became personally involved. When I was in my early 40’s I had some very minor surgery during which I suffered a cardiac arrest. Till then, I had never had a weight problem I couldn’t take care of in the gym.  At that time nobody had ever heard of carbohydrate addiction and I certainly didn’t expect to one day write a book about carbohydrate addicts!

It turned out that my unexpected heart issue had caused some damage. Within 3 months of the event, I noticed I was beginning to gain weight.  I upped my visits to the gym as I’d done in the past. But it became clear that although the weight was coming off, it was a lot harder than normal.

The doctor diagnosed a thyroid condition and prescribed some medication.  He warned me I would always have a weight problem.  Rather than depend on exercise, he referred me to a dietitian.  Apparently I needed to learn a new and healthier way to eat.  The possibility that this was how people became carbohydrate addicts never entered my mind.  It would take another twenty years for me to understand carbohydrate addiction and how I got to be one of the carbohydrate addicts.

But back then, in blissful ignorance, I followed the doctors advice and unknowingly embarked on the road to carbohydrate addiction.   For years, despite regular exercise, and sticking to the recommended diet, I slowly but surely gained weight.

When I retired, almost 7 years ago, I was around 80 kilos and suffered the early symptoms of type2 diabetes. Still, I found time to write and to think.  Noticeable weight problems were beginning to affect a lot of people around me.  It didn’t make sense to me and I began to think of it in connection to something significant that had happened some 20 years earlier.  I also realized that type2 diabetes was not known then.  Obesity statistics were not serious enough to publish then. And like me, most people did not have a weight problem then.  Carbohydrate addiction had never been heard of then and carbohydrate addicts would not become apparent for some time.

Putting all this together, I began to accept that carbohydrate addicts were real and I was one of them.

So I vowed to ignore all the diets, including the current ‘green’ diet philosophy and instead returned to the exact foods that were natural to me more than twenty years earlier.

Today, I’m one of the slim people.   I’m no longer in the carbohydrate addicts category.   I haven’t had a weight problem for almost 7 years and I no longer suffer the symptoms of type2 diabetes. I think that’s an amazing, unexpected and important enough to earn me the right to tell people about it. So as you know,  I have written a book called;

The Carbohydrate Addicts Manual, which I hope to publish online very soon!

In the meantime I have created this blog to share some of my secrets about carbohydrate addiction.  I have also gone into video production, which I’m having a lot of fun with.
I reveal many new issues of concern to carbohydrate addicts.  My grandkids are impressed with my YouTube presence and pretend interest in weight loss.  Who would have thought – I could become an identity to the 9 -15 olds.

While waiting for my book to be published, I’m posting videos and writing articles about carbohydrate addicts and the issues they will have to face.  There are some really important things about carbohydrate addiction and carbohydrates foods, that nobody else seems prepared to talk about. There’s a very good chance it’s because nobody else is around who knows enough and can put the pieces together as I have done.

Not till you know and recognize the truth about carbohydrate addicts, can you be expected to successfully deal with the problem!
