18 Deadly Lies About Carbohydrates!
These 18 deadly lies about carbohydrates are heard every day.
We recognize them and we believe them. Why? Because we are so used to hearing them. To question them will force us to change some cherished beliefs. That in turn will put pressure on us to change our lives. Nobody likes to do that.
But if a close relative of yours happened to be a drug addict, a smoker or an alcoholic. Would you not expect them to try to cure their addiction? Would you not do all you can to help them to achieve that goal?
A Carbohydrate addiction is as evil and damaging as drugs, alcohol and tobacco. They share the same symptoms: Cravings, binges, gnawing hunger pains, withdrawals, fatigue, depression, anxiety, headaches and other pains. The latest research link carbohydrates to Alzheimer’s disease and pre-mature ageing.
Carbohydrates can be blamed for morbid obesity, type2 diabetes and carbohydrate addiction. These 3 diseases were unknown forty years ago. Carbohydrates can also be held responsible for a huge increase in heart disease, colon and bowel cancer. So why do we still eat these foods? For the same reason smokers keep smoking and alcoholics keep drinking. We are addicted.
What makes giving up carbohydrates even harder than any other addiction is what we call “Enablers”. There are huge industries and professions who depend solely on carbohydrates for their income and success. They are willing to resort to lies to protect their interests. If people become aware that carbohydrates are not essential to human existence, they may try to give up their addiction. This will hurt profits for The industries, the grain growers, Nutritionists and diet guru’s. The government won’t like it either. Their priority is to protect grain growers and industry. Human beings are very low on that particular food chain. Except once every four years.
That’s why giving up carbohydrates is more difficult than giving up drugs. But consider this: There is an entire industry, along with the ‘experts’ they support, who keep this addiction rolling. They expect you to pass your addiction on to your children. That’s the only way the industry can survive. They’ve got you hooked. They’re not worried. But what about you?
